Mostly lurking here but try to contribute when I can.
Many positive reviews here on the forum for this member with quality cells, (sometimes delayed/other obligations) solid acknowledgements and rapid shipment.
Seems to be the only downside is that (other member posts attest) his packaging is almost bulletproof and takes some time to open
Sure we’d all apreciate some feedback here wherever you buy
Fasttech.com has the best prices I have seen on batteries. I have bought their Panasonic protected 3400 mAh ($19 for 2), Sanyo protected 2600 mAh ($11 for 2), and Trustfire protected “3000 mAh” ($9 for 2) batteries. All have been genuine as far as I can tell.
The original question was “reliable place in the u.s to purchase from.”
KumaBear is all of the above and in the U.S. The other vendors are not in the U.S.
KumaBear also had an incredible deal on the Thrunite TN31 in Dec. with personal inspections of the common problems before shipping each one.
