He did it using a product called 'greased lightning' to remove the annodizing, and using rouge to polish the bare aluminum to a mirror finish.
I'd like to know what kind of store in Canada would sell greased lightning as I've seen several different kinds on their website, but have no idea which kind I'd need or where to find it locally.

Okay - yeah, well; I think a blue boot is about as adventurous as I'm willing to go. In fact, I think I now have exactly as many silver flashlights as I want. Orange too, for that matter. It was fun learning something new.

Skilfully done and likeable but i still prefer that particular light in matte black ano. You should do something fancy to it. Not only the boot just a touch more. Another blue detail. Looks a bit plain. The solarforces were astonihing naked.

Not a bad idea Foy. Maybe one or two blue pinstripes on the head rings to match the boot when you get it - know any auto detailers?
