I manually lock out my A1 lights

do you unscrew the head half a turn, or some other tactic? Any quirks to learn, like, dont unscrew the tail?

I dont own any Anduril, Ive just been studying up on it cause I like the little triple FWAA, but am afraid to get involved in complex multiclick UIs

I really just want a simple ramping UI, that works on Eneloop AA, like the old Nitecore D10, that is no longer available.

Tool AA and FWAA- head only. All the rest, tailcap. No science to it except for the idiosyncrasies with the FWXX or sleeved models that reportedly are more sensitive to the tail cap connection. The Tool just because it can operate as a head twisty anyway. IMHO, Anduril 1 is king (for me anyway). Easy to get familiar with, uncomplicated, and honestly fun to play with. An-2 is just too convoluted for my liking. I’m still running training wheels with it. I wouldn’t let it sway me if I was intrigued by the host, but would prefer v1.

Im not intrigued by Anduril, but Im definitely intrigued by the FWAA…
I keep checking stock, hoping it will run out soon

I figure a FWAA Ti cant be far behind… if I can just hold out a little longer,

If it got Aux lights, that would surely pull me over the Disco edge
