I see guys ordering the colored 5000k CRI. Will all versions and colors be available at the same time? If not what is the timeframe of the versions that aren’t part of the launch? Thanks.

If you have to choose between the Lumintop IYP365 CRI and the TIP CRI, the I would go with the IYP365. Based on what I read about the TIP, it has a non-removable battery. So if you run out of power, you have to wait for the TIP to recharge. For the IYP365, simply replace the AAA batteries, and you’re fully charged again.

A non-removable battery also means that you can’t replace the battery when it eventually dies.

sent an email to nitecore to check on the type of LED used for Thumb. This is their reply below. Think they choose not to disclose the brand of the LED.

Hi ,

Thanks for your interest in NITECORE’s product.

I have contacted with our Design and Development Department, they told me that the Thumb LED all called high-performance LED which don’t have any actual item.
