1 I have Astrolux A01 and S41.
2 The A01 is great for when I’me wearing a suit and only want light things in my pockets.
3 Very interested in the k1 and other multi colored lights. Especially head lamps.

I would like CRI > 80 and CRI > 85 @ 5000K / 4000K / 3000K(!) options.
Prices under £15GBP (about $19.50USD) Over £15 I must pay £8 + 20% tax. Import tax makes a $25 order too expensive to buy from China.
EU Warehouse stock for popular Astrolux lights > $19.50.

- S41, S42, S42s must have benzen o-ring thicker. Now is thin, water can easily enter

- A01’s drop-in should be tightened, i bought 20+ A01, and a haft I have to twist it.

M03 Copper must have lens’s o-ring. i bought two and both are waterlogged. Micro usb port must be solder more firmly.

They’re little hot-rods with some extreme beam profiles (very floody or very throwy). I’d love to see something more sensible with balanced beam, runtime and size. 21700 light would be interesting.

S42 Nichia with additional 18650 tube.

Since it’s my first and only, the S42 for it’s potential more than the reality.

There were initially some problems with the 16340 battery tube and the USB cover. Astrolux was very responsive to the issue and provided everyone who pre-ordered with replacement tubes and new USB covers - this was excellent customer service.
Unfortunately the issues with the poor UI is more difficult to fix. The biggest issues with the UI are -
(1) lack of memory mode in the simple mode,
(2) the exceedingly long press for off, and
(3) placement of the blinding Turbo immediately after moonlight mode, where it can easily be accidentally activated.

A friend had a S41, from a group-buy. It stopped working about 2 months down the road… also many reviews about that model were quite bad. I bought the S42 hoping it will work.
