For those interested:
I know what you mean, it’s awesome.
damm! thanks for the measurements though. I have a five amp two cell board that will fit, its got strobe though
I’ll have to check the intloutdoor 3.5a driver as well, for those more sensibly inclined…
Is this possible to increase current using native driver?
possibly, I know alex gt used a sense resistor mod to up current on another ld two cell driver, the orignal driver is a little ham strung by its voltage range.
What is the inner diameter of the battery tube of this flashlight?
I’m showing about 26.5 to 26.6 mm.
Thanks.
I thought it is possible to use couple this holders in Convoy L2 ((((
That 3xAA holder is probably intended for use in a D-cell light, like a Maglite. They’re about 35mm inside.
Here we go again.Looks like lower quality copy at a higher price. :Sp
meh, buy host, buy xp-g2 and either a one or two cell 3a driver depending on preferences, instant super thrower.
My L2 turned up on Friday - went to pop in the new TF 26650’s that came with it, but the brass ring that’s pressed into each section of the battery tube was not centered, & the sharp edge scratched up the sides of the new batteries… Rat’s tail file, sandpaper, & 5 mins sorted that out.
I have an XRE-Q5 sitting here that I may have to try in it.
I’m currently playing with a new lux-meter & ‘light box’, & trying to come to grips with the readings/math so I can do before/after testing.
Gords has it, and I wonder what driver is suitable for 2 Lion cell?
I like the 3a ones from lck led
I have however heard of one user having issues with a couple and we’re not sure why, its possible they overheated, these can also be had from kaidomain, and there is a thread linked in my l2 ideas thread that show how to resistor mod these drivers for when you use copper.
