Has anyone tried a XM-L in a mini mag led? How did it go?

I’ve been happy with all the XM-Ls I’ve ordered from KD, although I haven’t ordered from there for a while. The XM-L I ordered from Intl.Outdoors came with a dirty dome, so I’m going to try CNCQ (?) next. LED-DNA XM-Ls were good too, cheap as chips as well, although they’re all 1A/1C.

have been receiving rave reviews on the mtbr DIY forum (including from a friend of mine in Canada that’s built a lot of lights), so much so that I ordered some out of curiousity. I found the Carclo holder a little fiddly to use, but the beam is pretty nice, throws well too.

Matt, what is the site of “chip as chips as well”? haven’t tried that LED vendor yet.

A little warning KDs 16mm XML are actually 16.5 mm so you have to file them down to get them to fit a P-60 pill. I get my 1A tint XMLs from lck-led very fast delivery around a week to 10 days.

relatively quick postage (<2wks), clean LEDs, cool white tint on the T6s. Didn’t try the U2s though. If they offered higher bin neutral whites I’d happily buy them from there.
