For the AA light, I would suggest, if you don’t mind waiting, Enogear AA Stainless Steel. Very nice construction and shorter than most tail clicky switch AA lights despite it being a AA tail clicky light. As of last I checked last night it is still under $15 (I paid under $15 shipped). It does have TIR optics rather than reflector.

What’s TIR optics?

BTW, for AA/14500 flashlights, get Sofirn SF14 (3 modes, no memory) and for the eventually that Windyfire or Efest IMR14500 battery (purple, 2017 version - take a look at Mountain Electronics )

yeah im a lurker so i don't post much, im north of you about 30-40 mintues, my grandparents live gadsden though. other than going to visit them we go to academy sports down there since there aren't any outdoor stores near us and its closer than going to huntsville. one thing we always do when going to gadsden is stop by a place on 431 in boaz called pasquales pizza, they make amazing roast beef and ham sandwiches.

Yep…. we’re practically neighbors then. Just guessing I’d say your around Guntersville or over toward Ft. Payne…. And yep…. Pasquales makes a great ‘sammich’!!!

I hear ya’ man…. beautiful country around there!!! I can only imagine it was loud…… especially with all the roar echoing off the mountains too.

My nephew & his family live on up around Owens Crossroads. Talk about a place that is wide open…. I think Huntsville is moving that way now. :person_facepalming: .
