Welcome to BLF, I’m also new here, I’m flashaholic from China.
Hello Jackie, thank you…
Hello AWTACT,
thank you … lets enjoy it… :sunglasses:
Its good to see your such a passion. Keep it up BLF’er respect your devotion.
I like Rammstein, Accept, and Scorpions, does that count?
Hello Lightbringer,
ya sure not my genre, but works… :innocent:
How many flashlights you collected?
Interesting…
I‘ve read quite often that both Rammstein and Scorpions are very popular in the US. The director David Lynch also seems to be quite a fan of Rammstein as he used their music in his films, e.g. „Lost Highway“.
The Scorpions are famous and popular everywhere in the world except in their home country Germany. When Klaus Meine walks along the street today, nobody would notice him. I never understood this for I truly love their ballads like „Wind Of Change“ (e.g. performed when they opened the Berlin Wall and both East and West Germany were reunited), „Still Loving You“ or „Send Me An Angel“.
I sometimes wish I was born ten years earlier, so I could have joined these nice guys on tour in their best time. No flashlights, no chargers at this time but just amazing songs I have grown up with…
Wind Of Change
Still Loving You
Send Me An Angel
Was always a fan of Teutonic Metal.
I mainly liked the Scorpions’ older stuff, umm, stoff, even back when Uli Roth was lead guitar. Classic…
Roth/Schenker, Schenker/Schenker, Schenker/Jabs, those were my favorite groupings. Lost touch with their newer stoff after LAFS, until HH1 (wow!).
Accept kicked it right from the start. Hoffman’s blazing guitar, Dirkschneider’s vocals (bless him, the li’l bug! ), what’s not to love?
Helloween’s KOT7K made me a fan forever.
Dunno if Warlock qualifies, but I still love Doro Pesch.
Now comes Rammstein, which taught me more German than I could ever learn from Eric Cartman. :smiling_imp:
Keep cranking ’em out!
