As mentioned above the solarforce Z2 is a nice AA light for a decent price. I really like the size of it.
I really like my new Fenix E12 but it doesn’t have a true moonlight, more like 8-10Lm. I’m in the process of swapping a FET Tiny10 in mine with moonlight-L-M-H no memory. The true moonlight is just a couple lumen, high is >300 but it only runs on 14500’s.
It’s not a simple mod and you have to be able to solder tiny SMD components and flash chips but it will be a killer light when I’m done.
