I’ve tried just about all of them. I like the X45 - it’s a nice balance between floody brightness and having too many LEDs (a failure point on bigger lights like from Imalent).
I would recommend the BLF GT70 too. The GT94 has a little more throw but I like the balance of usable light you get out of the GT70.
I did and am extremely happy I did. Send Craig a email. The lights are on back order, but well worth the wait. Also ask if he has any discount codes for othrr lights Don't forget to tell him Jim sent you.
I’ve been pretty tickled with my SP70. Not a pencil beam but a big ’ol punch of “5500” lumens of NW XHP70.2 goodness. The OP reflector helps reduce tint shift and it will easily light up an entire residential street in my use. Maybe not a “thrower” but throwy enough to push out there. Will light up the whole corn field nearby.
Mine seems fine, but some people have reported burning out the LED due to poor mating between the shelf and the MCPCB. But like I said mine seems fine.
Did you check out the x70,at Illumn. When I received mine I tested it out in living room for first time in living room. I put on very dark sunglasses and I'm glad I did or I might have hurt my eyes thats how bright it was. Incredibly bright.
Acebeam X70 60, 000 lumens. On sale at Illumn for 342 dollars regularly between 550 and 650.On back order but well worth the wait. Tell them Jim sent you.
