If you are looking for a “moonlight only” light, I got one of the HF old style 2xAA headlamps. It has a simple push ON/OFF and runs “almost forever” with Eneloops. I think I had to charge them once a year.
I really love the warm tint - yellow/orangy that calms you down and relaxes your eyes, kind of like a fireplace. Especially in a storm shelter that relaxing tint might be of a value.
