I have a QLITE Momentary driver I want to put in a headlamp, when testing the driver before installing it I only get one mode. I have tried to solder switch to both ground/star4 and ground/MCU pin#2 I have tried no switch it doesn’t make a difference, trying to change modes like a clicky does not do any thing either. And I doing something wrong or is the MCU faulty ?.
You bought it from Mountain electronics right ?
This is the right place to ask … MTN Electronics: LEDs - Batteries - Lights - Chargers - Hosts - Drivers - Components - 1-Stop-US Source
Doesn’t the driver need the correct Firmware for e switch operation?
I assume you have verified the momentary contact switch works as it should…. open when not pressed, closed when pressed and it releases to open when released. Test continuity / discontinuity with a DMM. …. or just solder a thin wire to the ground and touch momentarily to star 4
I bought the driver flashed with moppydrv.
The switch works as it should, I soldered everything together outside the flashlight. As soon as the power is connected the LED turns on switch or no switch.
Better ask Richard if you got it from mtnelectronics
