High drain 26650 from non US provider?

Hi all,

I will need four high drain 26650 for the coming L6 and a special edition from OldLumens that will require some 15A cells… and wondering what to get at a fair price.

FT has some MNKE at $22 a pair:

Would anyone recommend something else?

Thanks

I’ve seen some Vappowers and Keeppowers from Aliexpress stores.
Not sure how reliable are these stores

As Sharpie said, the Basen 26650s can be gotten for $7'80/piece. Get the discount code here: M4DM4X's deals and coupons (link is external).

I am currently on a sort of mental debate to decide if I should get some of these, the fact that there are reports of quality inconsistencies (different cells under the same wrap) sort of ball-breaks me a bit. I am not going to push more than 5 amps out of them, yet I need low internal resistance cells in order to get decent runtime on high while buck driving an XHP70 with 2S li-ions: overhead minimization.

I was a little disappointed with the MNKE compared to the Efest Purple, both 3500mah.

With my modified Thorfire S70, MNKE was supplying 6.5amps, 8amps with the Efest.

How expensive is the shipping from Mtn. Electronics? Just asking, since I do not have an international account.

Can you get them from Banggood? I see they have the Basen. The MNKE will not pull 15 amps. They would be lucky to pull 10 amps and I doubt even that.

If you can find this Shockli http://www.mtnelectronics.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=59_108&product_id=628 cell from someone, they would work, or else just use the Efest 18650 cells that ate the newest high drain purple cells. They will hit 15 amps, but not for long. Actually, no cell will hit that for long. They are wow lights, sort of like fireworks, on WOW, off.

There is also Windyfire :

khas, you'd better use the advanced post editor if trying to create links with exotic characters:

Thanks Barkuti, it works now found another way :person_facepalming:

Thanks. I ordered four purples. :sunglasses:

BTW: the WindyFire ones mentioned above seem to be a good deal too… I’ll have to try then at some point…

Used NKON in Holland a few times - excellent company to deal with. Last purchased a couple of MXJO 26650’s from them for my Cometa. NKON is the only online store I can find in Europe that supplies this highly rated battery.
