How did we do? (FastTech.com)

Hi guys.

The only issue I had with my shipment was this flashlight:

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1206302

The pill was so loose it wouldn’t turn on, so I went to tighten up the pill (good 2+ turns), and now the led was not in the right place.

Took the pill out and the pcb was loose, not mounted to the board.

So I installed arctic white paste onto it.

Put it back in, now the lens rattles terribly.

Basically, the lens, reflector, and led are not designed to work with each other, so someone tried to mask it by loosening the pill to the point where it appeared without turning it on, that all is well.

Its now sitting with my junk flashlights for parts and was cheap so i’m not to worried, but just to let you know, the QC is pretty bad on the above flashlight, and I certainly wouldn’t sell it in the state is was in.

Cheers for the rest of the stuff though, all works great!

Chris

Hi Chris,
That’s too bad about the C8. They can be hit-or-miss.
Next time, order a Convoy C8

I did, and its also in the ‘pile’ - but due to a failed xml2 attempt

Its the best c8 I have so far!

Chris

I just noticed a newly listed 18650 charger and what caught my eye was the numbers “4.35v”

Does that mean it cuts off at 4.35v, or does it simply mean it charges at 4.35v and cuts off at 4.2v? I am assuming the latter but thought I’d ask just in case I’m wrong.

Sorry about the mix up. I have PM’d you about ways to set this straight for you and we’ll take steps in the warehouse to make sure this does not happen again.

Apologies for this. Have you opened a ticket about this yet? We’ll have these exchanged for you. We test all flashlights prior to shipping to make sure they power on. We’ll pay extra attention to this particular C8 from now on.

Yes they cut off 4.35V, and their charge rate is 1A@4.35V as well.

i ordered a tablet N70HD and upon packing they told me its white not black as in pictures on website.after they updated the pics,i said i will take it.
And they still sent me a black N70S :quest: |(
why does mix up still happens when you keep assuring us that you will look into it?
in process of returning it and dunno how long to wait for a full refund.

Problem solved with pretty amazing speed - thank you Jasmine and Fasttech. :crown:

The post woman just delivered the EA4W and I love it! It arrived in perfect condition, well packaged, in bubble wrap and bubble wrap bag so the box is not at all damaged.

Thank you so much, FastTech, for the prompt shipping, handling and great prices! I will definitely be recommending you to others.

The same thing happened to me! So I guess someone now knows my address!! :open_mouth:

About a month ago I bought four AA 3rd gens for about $1 more- on ebay, in their retail packaging. It took a little browsing to find them- I think they ship from the US. Too bad fasttech doesn’t stock the AAs though.

You better hide all your flashlights and batteries :D

I have a BIG problem related to Fasttech!

It’s a big deal because it’s leak of customers’ information.

The packing team should not be mixing up invoices, even if orders are similar.

The invoice issue or something else?

my wish list @ Fasttech is filling in considerably faster than my wallet is able to withstand

Fortunately I didn’t order anything “sensitive”. xD

But please FastTech, this isn’t okay. :frowning:

That is quite the problem!

Im not worried, as long as you look into it, it will be fine, as mine is now destined for bigger and better things, theres no point you sending me another one as I can find a use for this one day. Ive already ordered again, you wont loose a customer

Chris

+1 This is seriously not good. Lists containing people’s address, phone number, email, full name, and the items they ordered are being accidentally mailed to random strangers.
OK, I made it sound bad, because it is.
Fasttech, this needs to be addressed with your packing/shipping team.
IMO, shipping the wrong invoice is worse than shipping the wrong items.

I agree, what if you had a hundred of these on your invoice (or vice-versa):

:)…

Seriously though, I do agree that this seems to be a serious problem from a privacy standpoint…
