Now I also boarded the choo-choo hype train, with one.

Maybe the size and handling of D3AA can replace my TS10. In brass it would be much nicer, but maybe in the future…
@ToyKeeper are there some surprises in Anduril like additional modes or changed UI elements or is the UI the same as with other recent Emisar lights? (Except for the battery performance check at the beginning of course)
I have 2 Emisar lights and one Octigon but to be honest don’t like the new models with the white button. I understand why, but just like a black button and those are not available unfortunately, otherwise would have ordered one
Hank ships accordingly. Sometimes with parts that are not on the menu. I second the recommendation to ask Hank unless you would rather deal with Jackson. Either way, black buttons are pretty easy to obtain.
If you need replacements (Nitrile), they are available on Amazon, or you may also be able to find them at a local hardware store.
There are no other issues Im aware of w the D3AA. Except some people dont like the pocket clip, the diameter of the head, and the sharp corners around the switch pedestal, but those things wont change, they are what they are.
I bought 1. Had my usual problem with the Hanklights, I don’t know my LEDs very well. So I went safe and bought a couple of optics to play with. I’m not after much in the way of throw with this light, more a bright hotspot and a smooth transition into flood.
