How much would I like to pay ? I have over 100 flashlights in my collection ( no I dont know exactly how many , I stopped counting when I reached 100 ) , so Im not really in the market to buy more . I think I have enough flashlights to cover any situation .
LEGO lights are always fun , and the more options the better . 1 and 2 AA might be good with Nimh , and 3 AA batteries might even work with cheap nasty budget batteries . I really like flashlights that run reasonably well on budget AA batteries ( or budget AAA batteries ) ..
Looks interesting :

Yeah , review samples are more productive than much of anything else ...
Its free advertising (?) ok you need to send out review samples ...
But the reviews will be there ( out there ) for years to come ...
Which means that if there is any interest in the concept , then hopefully 10's of thousands of people will be exposed to the reviews .. ( one can hope )
It just depends on the light , and how much interest there is in the format / concept .
Reviews are a good way of finding out , before you run of a batch of 10,000 ... Not every product will earn a huge following , I have tested some fantastic lights that unfortunately people had very little interest in ...
So you either make something people want , or you make something people will learn to want .. ( hopefully )
The old saying , you can lead them to water , but you cant make them drink comes to mind .
The other problem with copying people... is copying their mistakes too!
By cloning the Olight Sxx Baton, this light has also picked up one of it's biggest annoyances; the clip design.
I see you've done away with the retention 'bump' which is down to personal preference, but there is still a 'step'. On the Olight models, this step prevents the light from easily sliding onto the pocket as the clip get caught half way down the clip, and must be navigated to attach properly.
Nitecore have a very similar clip style, however they have left a small slope which tapers down to the light's body; thereby smoothly guiding the pocket fully into the clip. This is a very small detail, but makes the Nitecore clip design infinitely more useable than the Olight, and by association yours!
Hope this is useful feedback for future design improvement.
Yeah, we all know that the word “flexible” can bring different meaning (and it is not wrong if it is used here, technically) but when I read the word “flexible” on a flashlight it strikes me as something which is bendable, something like what your picture shows.
(Opps, now y’all know I’m a dumb and stupid person… :zipper_mouth_face: )
the nitecore clip has the little extra “ramp” tab added, it does make it easier for pockets, though i used these lights more on the brims of hats as a headlight.
If i can receive the Bronte V2 AA / 2AA / 14500 light to perform a full review on as i have many lights in the catagory including an Olight S15 with extension tube. (among others)
Trust me Brontelight will never attend to a question like this, ask me how do I know.
Brontelight once joined a flashlight closed group in facebook and promoting their X30S there, where I am also in it. I (and other members over there) have questioned several times about how legit is it of their claimed beam distance of the X30S, and the response given from Brontelight was very rude and unprofessional, saying that we are trying to crowd them out while all we did was simply asking about how legit of their claimed numbers.
You will realize that Brontelight will never, ever response to serious questions from the customers. They are just a group of thieves, stealing designs from the other brands (as what a lot of people here have already realized) and sell it as their own products. Yes we have seen this a lot with Ultrafires, SkyRay, UranusFire copying design from premium brand flashlight, not that I think it is a right thing to do but at the very least these companies lower the product quality and sell them at a much cheaper price, which does not pose a direct competition and threat to the original brands. Brontelight on the other hand copies the design from the others, selling them at the same premium price range at the same time without the need of putting in any R&D cost and efforts - wait, they don’t even bother to learn how to measure the throw and lumens properly. These people know nothing about flashlight and they are not sincere either, all they want is just money from us.
If I am gonna estimate a price for this “flexible” light, it would be $10 or less. Brontelight is no different from any Ultrafire or Uranusfire light in my book.
