My partners grandfather is about to hit 97, thought that was pretty impressive (without getting into a “I’m the oldest” pissing contest!!!)
Wow……family history.
I know the great feeling that your parents, and grandparents, lived to be in their 90’s.
My Dad is 94, and my Mom is 93.
I have had a great life, and I can only hope my children can enjoy the same. That they live to be many years old.
I forgot when my grandparents died or how old are they before their demise. I think they’re around 75 to 80 years. What I know, grandpa followed grandma after a year or two (or three, not sure, it’s been so long).
This reminds of the oldest people living in the world. I think both are Japanese. I’m not sure which one’s died this year. Either the male or the female.
I can’t top it, but I come close.
My grandfather died before I was born, but if he had lived he would have been nearly 89 years old. So on my 50th birthday, he would have been nearly 138.
My Mothers grandfather was born in 1910 and died in 2003
My Mothers grandmother was born in 1913 and died in 2008
All 4 of my grandparents are alive today.
My dads parents were both born in 1929 and my mothers parents were born in 1939.
I am one of 8 grand children who range from 8 months old to 28 years old. (on my mothers side)
I am 27 years old.

I haven’t found anyone yet to beat the almost 141yr old grandpa from a grandson at age 50.
I’m 64 and I have a six year old son. My Dad was born in 1915. When my son turns 50, in 2057, my Dad would have been 142. I only beat you by a year……
Well I’m actually talking about at this present time. But that is what it would take is some very old parents before they had a child. Not saying you are old. LOL!
It’s still a 92 year difference now. And the 6 year old thinks 50 is WAY old.
