How to Post Images on BLF

At first it posted as a blank page. After clicking the edit button it showed up as a link and then a picture so I’m confused as to what exactly happened.

Its showing up for me, format looks correct.

Yup, thanks for helping.

Testing alternate hosting source.

Odd, the photo shows up in Firefox, but not in Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

This is the link used. I wonder what the issue is?

I'm not sure what the problem is, but that image doesn't show in Opera either unless I open it in new tab.

That justmyfolder.com hosting site doesn’t use HTTPS, so some browsers will flag it as “not secure” and will block such content.

If you paste the link directly into Chrome Or Microsoft Edge, it displays fine.

I know. I suppose there is a difference between intentional clicking on insecure direct link vs having it embedded in a web page.

Imgur.com sold out to Media Lab. The Verge

Not sure if I should be nervous or not. From the article;

"What exactly the acquisition means for the future of Imgur is unclear, but it’s hard to read this as positive news for the site"

Yikes!

After Photobucket went down the toilet, I switched to Imgur for all my image hosting. I hope I don’t have to switch again.

Also form the article:

Imgur’s blog post announcing the acquisition reads like something close to a farewell note — “It’s been an absolute honor to create this corner of the internet alongside this incredible community” — though the company insists its “journey is far from over.”

I switched to ImgBB. So far so good. Using these free image host sites can be a crapshoot.

Imgur has been completely broken for me the last two weeks…can’t even log in. Been looking at some other sites and most of them are easier for forum posting like here. I hope that nothing changes with Imgur to the point of allllllll of the pics on this forum becoming broken links or not loading. That would be a real shame.

yes it would.
all hosting sites are unreliable in the long term,
so future linking problems are predictable.
is there another option?

Yup, I see it.

Looks good. Imgur works well here.

Is there any way to put a gif AV... !? Thanks !

Yes, but it has to be smaller than 85 x 85 pixels and be less 30 kilobytes.
