If you had 200$ today which flashlight should you buy?

Another ebay 85w HID flashlight.

It would have to be a TK75.

I lost my PD32UE on a job and had to replace it fast and Shane was cutting me a good deal on combo package.

So next time I think I will go for the TK75.

The TN31 or L3 Illumination K40 would be my 2nd choice. And probably I would have to go with the K40. It’s smaller and weighs less and fits my hand better.

Thanks ralf, I actually didn’t do it to myself(this time).Had a blood vessel behind the retina in my right eye burst a few days ago…has really F’ed up my vision. The tests were fun though, I felt like I was looking directly into my TN31 on high!I also got some fun dye that turned my pee the color of refriderant dye for two days! Now I’m out for at least two weeks to let it heal and hopefull regain enough vision to work……fun times but it could be worse!

The new Solarforce 1100 plus 4*18650 and maybe some modding stuff (if the SF needs a bit more oomph  )

I would spend the money on visiting the forum member with the most lights so i can decide what to buy for $200

I’d visit that forum member with some knock-out drops and a gunny sack… J)

now that you’ve confessed we can haul you in :expressionless:
also the geiger counter is beeping like crazy every time you approach it, why is that?

something titanium. it would only cost me about $100 if i take my vdub to loot said drop ins :stuck_out_tongue:

Either an Elzetta or and HDS Rotary. But since I don’t have that kind of money for my hobby, I recently got that 2AA LED Maglite on clearance at Target for $6…

I’ve done quite a bit work in nuclear physics labs… used to be head keeper of a 250kV proton accelerator and a 1 meter diam Van de Graff. Designed and built a few pulse height analyzers and scintillators. My ’nads produce a lovely blue glow.

so, the pee light was just for fun, not necessity? 8)

Well, the ’nads have been dimming a bit lately. Started to need some help in the photon-plumbing department.

i hear the specialized doctors have a good success rate treating plumbing issues

I wouldn't ever buy a 200$ flashlight ..

that's crazy talk...

The thought is probably very similar to the ones people are having when you say you've spent 40$ on a flashlight .. "What ..??? are you ******* nuts ?" ...followed by a lot of head shaking and muttering ..

TK75. Drool.

i actually just had my too expensive light built. in honor of gords selflessness, it is an aluminium torch  and i am proud to call it that
this light will be referred to as a torch. pics and details to come once i get it. but i will not mention price…

Too much when you can get a SRK for $40 or a BlackShadow Terminator for $115.

You have my attention

Price I could care less about but…….details man! Details! ! DETAILS!

To answer the op, another couple of torchlite hosts, the requisite parys to finish them and some enerpower 26650 cells to suit. 8)
