The TN31 or L3 Illumination K40 would be my 2nd choice. And probably I would have to go with the K40. It’s smaller and weighs less and fits my hand better.
Thanks ralf, I actually didn’t do it to myself(this time).Had a blood vessel behind the retina in my right eye burst a few days ago…has really F’ed up my vision. The tests were fun though, I felt like I was looking directly into my TN31 on high!I also got some fun dye that turned my pee the color of refriderant dye for two days! Now I’m out for at least two weeks to let it heal and hopefull regain enough vision to work……fun times but it could be worse!
Either an Elzetta or and HDS Rotary. But since I don’t have that kind of money for my hobby, I recently got that 2AA LED Maglite on clearance at Target for $6…
I’ve done quite a bit work in nuclear physics labs… used to be head keeper of a 250kV proton accelerator and a 1 meter diam Van de Graff. Designed and built a few pulse height analyzers and scintillators. My ’nads produce a lovely blue glow.
The thought is probably very similar to the ones people are having when you say you've spent 40$ on a flashlight .. "What ..??? are you ******* nuts ?" ...followed by a lot of head shaking and muttering ..
