Im looking for the farthest throwing 14500 (&AA) light

I EDC a G29 too and I’m very certain I’m a better shot than they are. (Not to brag but I’m a better shot than most).

my throwiest AA flashligh is the Xtar WK25b, but i use it with a 14500 J) …i don’t known if the WK26 is even better!

After limited 14500 usage, mine seems dimmer, compared to the half-dozen I’ve gotten in recently…

is this happening to all AA/14500 combo flashlight?
how about 14500 with LiFePO4 chemistry, is it causing same effect?

I use mine primarily with 14500 Li-ion (no pun intended) and haven't had a problem with NiMH.

I use all my AA lights with liion and nimh and have had almost no problems, the only lights which make problems are the “sk68 extender lights”, these wont light up ever if you use a liion one time

I am surprised none mentions the Nitecore EA1. I have it on 14500 lithium and it's amazing how nice it and powerful it is. It outshines my EC1 apparently which is something that got me puzzled (maybe I have an odd piece) but both tint and light wise it is better. Both warmer and stronger.

so far out of all the single AA / 14500 EDC lights i have a original Sipik SK68 out throws all the others, and even many of my 18650 larger lights. Im thinking of dropping in a XP-G2 in one, and ugrading the driver to push it harder on a 14500.

Thrunite Archer XP-G2 on a 14500 out throws every AA/14500 XM-L light

My best throwing single AA light is the Archer but I haven’t used it on 14500s

Excluding a custom AA light made for me by a member from here my 2nd best throwing AA would be my Romisen RC-G2 XP-G but I don’t think they can take 14500s.

In this picture its 100 meters to the trees in the background, both using 1.2v AA’s. 14500s should be a lot brighter.

Ezarc. I believe if you charged your eneloop in the much awaited for Dream Charger that any light run on this battery will have 3 times the lumens.

:stuck_out_tongue:

I wonder how many non-Aussies will get the joke Ezarc?

39k lux on 14500 pocketable light with an XPE2!

Being run on a lineair driver, that one does not run on AA, only 14500, so it does not fit all requirements of the OP.

Plus he doesn’t like the aspheric beam . . but he wants it to surprise others and throws out the EDC requirement … another driver is available, even if it requires a lux trade-off down to somewhere between 17 and 39 … let’s see lux on the other choices in the single AA size format
