Saw it before, looks interesting and the price is good. But really really limited by the fact that it uses a single 18650.
Now - one 18650 battery to cater for both light and USB charging? That’s pretty limited. Unless you’re prepared to take a bunch of batteries, but then again you may as well bring your powerbanks if that is the case.
If it uses 3x or 4x 18650 then I may consider it more usable.
Not sure why but reminds me JetBeam DDR26 just without display. And yeah, something from Solarstorm.
Edit:
Ability to charge other devices is awesome. I wish my DDR26 had this feature.
Yeah, definitely a mash-up between Nitecore EC25 “cobra” and Solarstorm grey/blue palette tones.
Had it a tailcap switch PLUS the side one to change modes but retain momentary-on ability, and a neutral tint, it would tempt me greatly.
Found out from some Chinese online stores that the max current for this light is only 1.5A. Looks rather underpowered. But the reflector seems big enough to throw reasonably well.
Those who bought and received it, pls show us the driver if you could
I should be getting it any day now as it shows it’s already in NY sorting center for few days now
even their $5 yupard mini can be resistor mod and add XP-E2 on noctigon and it’ll blew away SolarStorm SC-03
That’s about right, most of these budget light are never push too hard as it is only to please the non flashaholic users
but for under $18 and has the ability to charge other thing is a not a bad deal at all
Thanks for the update and pictures. How exactly is the driver glued in? are you referring to the control panel with the pushbutton, battery LEDs, and the 4 little screws, or are you talking about the battery contact board?
