Is imitation the sincerest form of flattery?

Made of Titanium = difficult and ex$pen$ive to machine,

But the clip is not reversible so can’t use it as a headlamp on a hat brim? Useless to me.

If the original Barrel lights were $200-$300 I’m sure a lot more people would just frown upon the shoddy copycats and look away. But at $1300 dare I say they’re just a blatant rip-off.

Let’s look at pocket knives for example: What does $1300 get you? At that price range we’re looking at Microtech Marfione customs with literal mirror-polished CTS-204P blades, which contains 20% chromium (i.e, extremely resistant to abrasion) thus I assume is worlds more difficult to work with than some titanium alloy. For a mere $800 you can get a really nice feather-pattern Damascus knife which takes days to just hand-forge the raw material.

$1000+ for a titanium tube? Nah…
