Emisar D3AA is available now

From the pictures the raised ring looks rather smooth. Is this the case in reality, or does it have a sharp edge?

The edge is not sharp, it will not cut in stuff or something. Iā€™m carrying my D4V2 with raised switch ring in my pants for two months now and it feels fine and smooth, would not want it any different. Wanting the ring to be round like Firelight2ā€™s mod or wanting it ending in an edge like the raised ring from Hank is a preference, not a problem.

Thanks, that helps me in this difficult decision

Hell yeah. 6 or more running down through the fins

Received the parcel.
The new titanium flashlight is very beautiful. I will deal with the interface settings.
And also special thanks to Hank for the sold host for transferring the old white D4 to the new gray D4V2 building.

Received my D4v2 Ti today. Gorgeous light.

However, as expected, itā€™s quite heavy. I measured 174g with a Sony VTC5A installed. Compare that to 113-115 for my aluminum D4s.

After using my Ti/Cu for a few days, it is a wonderful light. I do not mind a few ounces for such a nice looking and well performing tool. It does get hot on turbo, but lights up everything very well. Used it to chase a large deer from my 1 year old apple tree last evening. I think this is becoming my favorite 18650 light, even more than the EDC18, which is a great light too.

Received my D4V2 Ti from hank last Friday, finally came into some 30Qs the other day to give her a proper test.

I opted for the SST20 4000K 95CRI LEDs with the flat retaining ring.

What can I say, this thing has some serious heft in the hand and pocket.

The images that pushed me over the edge were the purple auxilary LED shots with the illuminated stitch shining bright, Very very cool.

Been in the pocket for the last week, finally starting to see some colour change on the copper heat sync.

The supplied lanyard is a bit too small for my big hands to slip in and out of easily, Ill be opting for a larger one.

Low to mid power has a distinct yellowish tint until you get higher up in the output range, heat generation is very fast but as expected with an angry little pocket rocket.
I found myself using about 60% of its output most of the time which gave a nice colour tint with very minimal temperature output.
I wanted something with a very floody beam and a very high CRI for taking pictures at night while on urban explores, this thing rocks so far!

Thanks for your patience Hank for when I was repeatedly asking about a black D4V2, the moment I saw the Ti I pulled the trigger.

I also ordered the extra optic package which I am yet to try.

So no green in these sst20 leds?

I didnā€™t get SST20 4000K 95 CRI in my D4v2Ti.

However, I did get them in my aluminum D4V2. They are quite green. At least as green as the SST20 that came in my original model D4.

And much, much greener than the FD2 tint bin that comes with the FW3A series lights.

Thatā€™s a shame

However, it should be noted that even the ā€œgreenā€ SST-20 4000K 95 CRI still looks good at High and Turbo. However at lower power settings the green is really noticeable.

Hello everyone, the D4V2 brass is for sale

Nice!

Will you be offering full Cu and/or other colors in the future?

have to say that white and brass go really well together!

Apologies if this has already been answered, but are these limited edition production runs or will they be available for the foreseeable future?

Can you please include the weight of the lights on the product page?

Just got Ti version and looks like iā€™ll be getting another one under the tree...

Henry, any codes for any of the D4V2 for the budget minded? :+1:

A brass D4V2 is very tempting, brass is my favorite material. It will be heavy so no chance to be my EDC, but stillā€¦

Hank, could you check if the almost 3 times (twice if measured with battery) as heavy brass version will still stick horizontally to a metal surface if I should add the magnet? (the picture with the knife shows it a bit tilted maybe for a reason? )
