This is on USPS. It took One day to get from Hong Kong to LA. It has been sitting in LA for Four days! It does not take Four days to unload an aircraft.
I know Hank mentioned it can take 3 to 4 weeks to get our item. This is NOT on him.It is on the USPS In LA! :smiling_imp:
LA is one of the customs stations. Itās probably with customs, not USPS. It usually takes a few days to sort through customs. Once itās in USPSā hands it will move quickly.
The KR4 I ordered arrived in Chicago on 4/30 but it didnāt leave until 5/14. Still hasnāt arrived here. With all the things going on in the world, I tend to be forgiving of shipping taking longer.
Thatās pretty fast imo. I pre-ordered the KR4 had it shipped on 4/1 and last update was 4/4 and still waiting on if or when it will leave Asia, I hope I see an update soonā¦ā¦ its almost at the 50 day mark with no update.
Looks like mine has arrived at ORD in Chicago, so should be here before the weekend. Iāve got a pretty good selection of new 21700 cells to run in it between molicel p42a, t40, and t30. Iāve never picked up the t50 because I donāt need that much capacity but I can see the usefulness for people that use lower draw for extended time. But I have way too many lights and batteries. When I charge batteries I like to charge them hard and fast. I like max hp available at all times even if that means a smaller gast tank. But Iāll probably be running the Samsung T30. I donāt expect this light to be used at max power for even 1 min before itās too hot. I have many much larger lights with the older sbt or sst90 that get very hot in seconds. Some of those lights have a copper heatsink that is 16 oz. But the real reason I wanted to get this light is that it pushes the limits as to what is possible with high lumens and high intensity in a light that fits in a jacket pocket, even if itās heat limited for a short runtime on max.
A āFew Daysā are the key words. That is what it has taken in the past for the handful of lights that I have gotten from China.
No surprise that the usual 2 or 3 days wait in LA has turned to 6 Plus days because of COVID-19.I am going to try and forget about this light instead of checking tracking 4 or 5 times a day!
A rule of thumb for me. I always order batteries[if I need them] the same day or before I order my light. I have had my P42Aās for Two weeks now!Nothing worse than a brand new torch and no batteries! That has never happened to me.
Thatās the thing, I ordered some batteries two days after I ordered the light (from a UK seller) so they should have been here sometime last week! But the parcel has been lost by the delivery company (My Hermes). So Iāve now ordered some more and they should be here tomorrow. Comes to something when a light from China gets here faster than some batteries 100 miles away!
