I reran a small sample of batteries through the Opus. I set the charge and discharge at 200ma as that was the closest to the 250ma that I used on the Lacrosse. I tested 2 Eneloops (805mAh and 804mAh), 1 Acculoop (907mAh), and 1 Keyko (763mAh). It’s weird as the Acculoop was in line with the readings from the Lacrosse. The Eneloop and Keyko were lower readings but both within their specifications.
I went looking for Acculoop AA batteries after reading about the AAA ones, but they ones listed are overly expensive.
+1. The AAAs were dirt cheap by comparison. Why?
I have no clue. I asked Robert (Rdana) on ebay and he said that he stopped carrying Accupower because there wasn’t a demand for them, despite them being great cells. He has some AAA but they are about a $1 more than Amazon. He said he is out of the AA and doesn’t plan on ordering any more. They have some AA’s here and here and here
do your acculoops list country of origin?
