i love my P1A. it’s spec’ed with 150 Cletus ANSI lumens but as the above reviewer established, it is so much less bright than the JR30 R5 which is spec’ed at 120 ANSI lumens. even worse, as soon as Eneloop voltage goes down, the P1A brightness declines as well, whereas on the JR30 the brightness remains constant.

so don’t buy the P1A for the claimed lumens. just saying

I think it’s pretty good. For 21$ you do not buy anything better.

…my Klarus P2A arrived yesterday from Bangggood. Exactly 14 days from order date to WA. State. I’d buy from them again without hesitation. In fact, I think my P2A needs some company…little brother, P1A ?

This is a very underrated series in my opinion. Both the 1xAA and 2xAA versions are simple, rugged, reliable and cheap!

How is Banggood’s shipping nowadays? I know they’ve gotten a bad rap in the past, has anything changed?

They are as good / bad as other shops at the moment. They ship quite fast, but the bottle neck is in all Chinese posts (as they are inspecting packages against Li-ions)

My last shipments from them took:
- 4.5 weeks via CN post (the shipment sat about 3.5 weeks at Guangzou airport - waiting for inspection or something)
- less than 2 weeks via flytexpress (SE post)

What jumps out at me from this graph is how the Nice battery pretty much beats or at least hangs with the Energizer.
I love those Nice batteries for the price. Thought they were just as good and your test proves it.
Oh yeah, that flashlight looks pretty darn good as well.

Right. That's a bit annoying, especially as they don't provide free registered shipping for orders under $25.
