L2P serial numbers

I have been waiting a long time to join this thread. #A0982 in grey is in the house. Printing and S/N not engraved.

You just gave me an idea . . . and, you're part of that cool group now where a nod is all that's necessary. "You packin' an L? (slight nod) then, flash your secret Solarforce laminated ID card for instant street cred.

Hehe...welcome to the "triple digit club" ! I hear the "quad digit club" even has a secret handshake...but you'll have to ask Don about that one :)

Foy,

I hate you. I hate you with the burning rectal fire of a thousand cheap burritos.
I had to test your insane solarfoyce addiction, and now my poor ultrafires lay there, stripped of batteries, without even the will to get up off the shelf most days.
Do you feel guilt? Remorse about what you've done?

I hope you rot for what you've done. A pox upon your emitters.
(btw, thanks for being crazy. I love the real HA-III coating and general build quality. Still... guilt! remorse! pox!)

I think it might be time to think about changing your diet...

Funny stuff!

I was in that band wagon for a while, getting L2, L2P, L2X, 2 L2i's and L2r. Recently I have recieved Ultrafire WF-501b camo and Sky Ray S-R5. And I have to say, I like them a lot. Maybe even more than the Solarforces. And I have WF-501a on the way. But you know how it is... It's like choosing witch of your kids is your favorite one...

Anyway. My black L2P is #A3973

Yeah, I've got a 502b w/a SSC P7 dropin. It's a generally nice light, only my tailcap switch has an intermittent fault on high, and the threads shipped dry and gritty.

I do like the softer feel of the (usually working) ultrafire switch, though.

Still, it's hard to turn that into a left-handed 'hey, thanks for making me try something new' comment...

Just doing what I can for humanity and I must agree with some of what was said; I've got all the inexpensive Solarforce lights so, now what? Buy more of the same thing?

Nope. That's why I'm having a blast with this dang UF 980L. What a hoot that over-driven firecracker is. Anyway, I'm due back in hell to break some more rocks - hard labor for being a bad influence my whole life.

Don't know about that - will have to invent one for the "five digit club" maybe. Problem is the only folks I can try it out on at the moment are patients. They can react in unpredictable ways to "funny handshakes".

Tell some that it's a new test for (variously) parkinsons, cerebral palsey, and insufficient humor.

Then, just for fun, tell one that it was really a test to see if they knew the secret insurance handshake.

... I'll be over here, stuffing my sense of humor back in its coffin...

Or to check for the extrapyramidal symptoms of neuroleptic drugs. People can appear to be moving like a Thunderbirds puppet when affected.
