Lab power supply recomendations adjustable voltage 0-15 volts 20 amp

I too like a finished product more than a contraption using separate parts, more convenient IMO and it looks better.

DPS5020 case is expensive so I sought alternatives. There are many models for 3d printers. Some include space for AC/DC PSU.
F.e. these cases takes the “1000W”/48V PSU that I mentioned earlier:

But one review makes me desire something better:

And it actually looks like the NVVV PSUs are just the same. Same pictures, same dimensions, same model name. The 800W is s-800-60 and can be bought for $55 elsewhere.

It should be more effecient with the input output voltage close to the same. It is a buck converter though, I would imagine its still pretty effecient with a higher input than output. If the input is 60v and you need 30v at 10 amps. Thats about 60v at 5amps needed on the input side of the DPS5020. That’s cruising speed for 60v 15 amp supply.
Having the higher input voltage puts less strain on the power supply if your operating it using almost half the needed voltage out…

HKJ made a lot of tests at constant A and V outpout depending on V input.

Wow this DPS 5020 looks great!, input voltage does not seem to make any difference.
