Some oil lamps can be a nice decorative item even if you never light them.
But when they are lit, the soft warm glow and the way a flame seems lively even when it’s a non-flickering like a lamp flame have a charm somehow not replicated even by a high CRI LED of the same color temperature.
Be aware of the hazards and use them safely, and just enjoy the result if that’s your thing.
I think Todd needs to not have oil lamps in a barn .
