Laptop pulls, what about 18vdc tool rechargeable battery pulls

Got a 18vdc li ion battery from my brother in law…unfortunately it had been dead a REAAAALY long time

Cracked it open, pulled out 10 Sanyo batteries, I believe they were the red ring 2200mAh but due to having been in the battery outside for months the rings looked brown/rust color

Tested the batteries, all read .5 vdc…deadder than a hammer

However there are 10 batteries inside those things…so possibly a different source for decent flattop batteries

Tools would probably have high discharge current cells as opposed to laptop cells.

Hitachi tools use Sanyo INR cells. Mostly 1600mAh but newer ones must be larger capacity.

That’s too bad. Usually IMRs which are generally some of my favorites to keep on hand.
