I have a few of those 4000K 80CRI LG’s, and the thing is that with just the type code given on aliexpress you can not be sure which series it is. The latest series with the best specs is the H35C4, which would indeed be nice to test against other modern leds, but these on aliexpress more likely are H35C1 or H35C2.
Samsung leds btw are (perhaps not coincidentally) very similar to LG leds, and I tested their latest 3535 led with best bin and the performance is not as good as the latest Cree/Osram/Nichia leds. testing a Samsung LH351B series 5000K 70CRI led
But the tint is indeed very good!
