I dont trust selfbuilts comments that its current controlled. He only claims "current controlled" if he cant find a detectable PWM noise. It doesn't prove its current controlled, he can only prove that its not obviously PWM. It could be a really well filtered PWM, a linear reg, or true current controlled...
