That Small Sun ZY-C1 looks like a clone of the Aurora SH0034. I have a single mode version of the Aurora. It’s a great little light. Good deep reflector - good throw. But it does warm up and is not exactly light being stainless. Well worth the $15 I paid.

This one looked pretty nice. Anyone know or used this one? I’d like something brighter in that size. Pretty close in size to that surefire

The Small Sun ZY-C1 indicates that it takes a 16340.

Will it not operate on a Cr123? I notice several of the lights mentioned indicate the use of a 16340. I am surprised they won’t also take a CR 123. ??

Mine’s running on a Soshine protected RCR-123 700mAh
It lights up with an old Panasonic CR123A but is about half as bright.

Maybe because it’s old, I don’t know enough about the battery chemistry of 16340s
