Looking for a 14505 non-r/c 3.6v battery as a backup to keep in car.

I wonder if those boost/buck drivers (that run on 1.5vdc or 3.0vdc stacked-boost/4.2vdc -linear regulator) would work?

Possibly get a host that holds 17mm, put one of those in it and see if it can boost the output to a XP-G2 (1500mA is 300% rated capacity)

I know they have a CR123 host, the Ultrafire 602C, it holds a 17mm driver, and 16mm star (I built 2x of them with the 101-AK-A1 and use 16340 Li Ion batteries in em and even at 1400mA drive power they get VERY hot…and are suprisingly bright for thier size)

I think maybe once my finances are stabilized I will get one and see if the CR123 and boost driver will run it

Actually maybe a full sized Convoy host and this driver and stacked CR123’s (6.0vdc) running a XP-G2

Or a Zener diode Nanjg 105C and stacked CR123’s (6.0vdc)
