I'd like an 18650 tube style light, but I can't seem to find what I'm after. Don't need super bright, have other lights for that. I like the Convoy S2 size or EE A6,
doesn't need to be tiny. Would like to stay in that price range, say under $25. The part I'm having trouble finding is the levels I want.
I would prefer something like 1/20/150/500. The BLF A6 looks nice, but as far as I can tell, 11 will be the lowest mode, and I don't need that many modes,
or 1100 lumens in this light. Thinking of ordering parts from Mtnelectronics.
S2 host, and AR lens. Would like a NW LED. How many amps/7135 chips would I need to be in this ball park?

Yes thanks, I have a Solarforce P60 with drop in, great light. As I mentioned in my post, I am looking for a "tube" style similar to the Convoy S2. Yes, the Qlite driver looks like what I want, I just need a little help selecting one.
Well, I bought a Nitecore P12 recently and it is in the same size class of the Solarforce L2T host I use with the CUXP2 drop-in. Sure Convoy shall be smaller of course.
Have you looked at the DQG That is SMALL and there’s a good deal going on right now.
Yup, the P12 is nice, and has good spread on the modes, bit more expensive than target though. DGQ looks nice, low to med. is 3/80, would like to get a bit closer on those two. Not interested in Convoy because it's smaller necessarily, but rather if I go custom, I can make the spread more to my liking.
