It’s not about feel. The light (it’s the same as Astrolux EC01X) was already tested and the claimed numbers are much less impressive, something like ~5k lumens and 1300m throw or so
You need a reflector like 150-160mm and a direct driven sbt90.2 behind a lot of batteries, but it’s possible. The Astrolux MF05/Mateminco MT90 Plus can do it, but that’s not really a hand portable flashlight…it’s huge. This new mt001 performs like it should, so no problems there.
Neals Gadgets sent myself and Zeroair a unit to review. Definitely not the 3000m claimed though. I expected 1000m, but heard it’s around 1500m.
