Found this on Ebay:

Looks like a clone of this yupard offering:

FandyFire calls it the “Queen”

But the one on ebay has ~1200 more Lumens :face_with_monocle:

Is the clone of clone of SkyRay/BlackShadow Queen Skyray King's baby Brothers:

Too bad it had a bad review. $10 was almost a must buy

Ah, but it’s $20 shipped and that’s if nobody bids against you.

Recently ran across it on Aliexpress for $16 with free shipping.

Sorry I don’t have the link.

I would gladly give $10.00 for it if it had free shipping.

I think this Skyray Cree XM-L T6 3X LED is a much better buy, same price as you would pay for the Mini
I use four 18650 ($2 each laptop pulls) in mine, it’s a little bigger then the Mini.

The SRK clones are well known around here. The OP’s link was special because it’s uncommon.

I thought it was well known, wasn’t it part of the King/Rook/Queen lineup a little while after SRK became huge hit?

The rook and queen just didn’t pick up so well. For good reason I suppose - single 18650 light is smaller, cheaper, easier to maintain AND yet has better runtime than 3x14500 or 3x 16340. The ones that can run primaries do have its uses though.

Actually the SRK is much larger than the Rook or this Queen version (I think the rook is a triple AA/14500 version)

I must say the actual fandyfire ones and not the clone looks decent…but that price!!! Daggum!

agreed

What would be cool is to get the Rook, daugher board in one of the AA boost drivers on the driver board (or make an OSHPark contact plate) and have it use 3-AA rather than Li Ion’s

AA’s will be easier to get and are a bit more resilient than Li Ion in long term storage…sharing the current draw between multiple alkaline batteries will lessen the burden on them and they should be able to maintain current draw better, I know when the alkalines get down to ~1vdc the boost circuit really draws hard on em, and they can’t hold up their output curves at much over 1-2A

Sure, just uncommon and unpopular.
