mode selection via 2nd button or switch?

I’ve played with several 18650 flashlights, and they all irk me because the same button is used to turn on the flashlight, and set the different modes (high/low/strobe). One flashlight didnt remember the modes very well when turning it off & on. One flashlight had to be tapped on the rear, to change mode, that didn’t work well either.
Anyway. Are there flashlights with a separate button to turn it on, and a second switch to select the mode?
A rotary switch to select mode would be perfect….

Welkom op BLF!

Thunite has some lights like that, TC12 and TN12

bigger lights like the Thorfire S70 and S70S and ConvoyL6 have it too

Just saw a video of Vesture of Blood about soonfire, having it.

Lots and lots of choices.

Maybe tell what you want to use it for and a (tight) budget

Lots of fenix and nitecore flashlights have two separate buttons.

thanks for the quick answers!
my budget is around 20 USD, maybe 30 maximum.
ideally, I would want a sliding switch or ring to select the mode. not a second button. I found this flashlight that does it, but the price is insane:

Thorfire TK15s is brandnew and does have two switches:

My order is on the way, one of the best lights IMO. Hope it will come in tomorrow.

I have only seen sliding switches on diving lights, but there might be a few out there.

through the flashlights people linked, I figured out what keywords to look for.
this one sells for 25 euro at banggood, and seems exactly what I want:

Looks nice
and within your higher end budget

thanks! interesting light, but won’t do it:
“So that means not keeping the cell in the light 24/7.”

Unscrew the tailcap ¼-turn, and it’s safe.

I do that even with “regular” lights when I’m not using them for a while.
