A friend of mine died from a seeing eye dog.
You could try cutting your hands off but after chopping one how do you do the other?
My solution is simple and works out much cheaper in the long run.
By good quality a flashlight instead of ten crappy flashlights.
1 quality light = $80 to $250 up to $500 for fancy TI.
10 Crappy lights = 80 to $500.
Figures pulled from you know where.
Pros pride of ownership that comes with a quality product, resale value, more reliable, I'm sure there are more reasons but I'm lazy.
Would you rather owner ten old bangers or one or two quality cars?
Would you rather own ten Timex watches or one nice Tag or Rolex etc.

Very sorry. I certainly did not mean to offend (but how was I to know?). I actually have a cousin that is blind from birth (he is 62)and has a wonderful seeing eye dog. He also owns a couple little sidewalk stores in (whoda thunk it?) Charlotte N.C LOL as well as one in Spartanburg S.Carolina. He is 58 and you should hear him tell "blind jokes" (he can get away with it). I was born not to far from Charlotte (Tryon N.C.) My dad left me a place on Bullwalker road(I"ll be moving there next year) 5 miles outside of Old Fort N.C. not far from Black Mountain. I have folk in Mars Hill, Asheville, swananoa, columbus, Hendersonville, big pine, little pine and all over Western N.C. Oh, and Charlotte. So again, I did not mean to offend as I would NEVER make fun of anyone with a physical issue (or anyone else for that matter). Matter of fact I am known (since my early teens) for defending those that are/were bullied (I bullied the bullies *not to be confused with wooly bully*). Sorry to hear about your friend. Since I have never heard of something like this if you don"t mind (I understand if not) would you share how this tragic event took place? Now back on topic......poking my eyes out would be the only way to cure this flashlight addiction LOL

Expensive torches still have their shortfalls, much the same as cheaper torches, and you will Still face the Same problem - finding the perfect flashlight.
