Yeah it's not nice stuff!
I've no idea what the dilution was, but I assume it was quite high - it came in liquid form and then was diluted further before use.
Still, I don't recommended it for health or flavour reasons :)
The stuff you used to get for amoebic dysentery was the nastiest thing I've ever tasted. And that is speaking as someone who learned to swallow tablets dry because that way you only tasted the chloroquine for a few hours instead of for a day. Chloroquine tastes utterly horrible. Ambilhar is considerably worse.
