I’m not sure exactly but I’d say maybe, djozz has done some “crash tests” on those, here’s a quote from this test: Cree XP-L V6 2C led, tested against XM-L2 T6 3C, edit23/7: I repeated the test and measured a dedomed XP-L :
“at 8.5A the measured output after 20 seconds was 2149 lumen”
In another “death test” by Texas Ace it reached 1513lm before it smoked @ 5.5A: XM-L2 U2 1A Output and Death test by Texas_Ace, Surprisingly quick death
You could swap it out to an XP-L2 and get a higher output from the FET driver.

Interesting you brought that up today, I’ve been discussing that exact same light (but in a full flashlight body) today in another thread! (the headlight looks like just the head part of that flashlight) Anyone got this one? (HKV LED Flashlight 180 Degree Adjustable Torch 3LEDS)
Although it’s showing discontinued in the link you posted and I haven’t found it anywhere else yet.
