Need help picking a cheap AAA light for edc

excellent collection!! i also have E09, Ti, and D25A Ti :)

Thanks, I will check out their site and see if that is a match.

I’m also curious - what is stainless one in the top right?

BeamO answered this but no link to it. Here is his answer:

Also the stainless light at the top right corner of picture is this:
EOSLAMP SP11-S CREE XPE R3 LED 1xAAA Stainless steel EDC Flashlight
I found it in BetweenRides post on a different thread.

It does look handsome and small. Perfect for a keychain IMHO. Hey BeamO! How is the quality, tint, feel, UI for you on the EOSLAMP? Anything you would recomend more?

I’m just getting into these smaller lights and in some ways (the fact you can USE them more) they are better than my “Big Guns”. I just ordered 4 of the L3 Illumination L10s. Two with a nichia (one for me and one for the wife) and two with the XP-G2 (again, one for me and one for my daughter). I hope I like them!

I didn’t see BeamO’s response. Thank you! I think I’m going to put that EOSLAMP on my list…

I know exactly what you mean. I’m just getting into these AAA too. All that color selection in the L10s sure makes you want to order more than one! I have a white and an orange in transit now.

just opened up the first of four. MY MINE, MINE, MINE L10 with the Nichia in natural finish. There isn’t anything not to love about this light except for not being made out of titanium. This is a very nice little light that when a 14500 is put in pushes out the most wonderful clear PURE white beam. I LOVE it! It’s weird I haven’t been this impressed with a light in a long time! SBflashlights and the L10 is a WINNING combination! I can see I did not make any mistakes ordering these.

Awesome, I can’t wait to get mine!

According to SBflashlights, though, 14500 is not recommended due to heat.

Yeah, I just keep it out of the two highest modes for any longer than two minutes or so. It’s not uncomfortable to hold then or even scolding hot so I think I’m okay with short bursts. If I was a company and risked being sued for being liable I would never suggest Lithium Ion cells either. I have to order some AAs and a charger today or maybe Frys has some. Any suggestions?

I have and like the Nitecore Intellicharge i2. $17 and charges almost everything (except 10440!). Check the charger sub-forum for lots of great advice.

Don’t forget the Ti2 is out now, so you can get a little better output/runtime with the XP-G2 in it.
