I agree. I don’t think anybody is going to buy this to use as a headlamp.
As others have mentioned, they should have probably made it using a 21700 battery cell, and dedicate it as a work light.
I ordered a PT40 without battery and discovered that it did not work on turbo using the two different protected batteries I tried- a flash and then nothing worked until I unscrew the battery compartment which reset it. I then used a 20 amp unprotected battery and everything is fine. It also works with a 10 amp unprotected battery. The light is low discharge protected so no worries
My pt40 got shipped today ( meaning delivered ) . You need to have a light strapped to your belt ? I like this 6 sst-20 option .
Magnet on this thing sucks.
The beam pattern looks like a single emitter light. (The 6 emitters is 100% useless gimmick)
The head orientation seems rather stupid as well. Could not illuminate my rear brake on my car no matter where I placed it…which was hard enough due to the sorry excuse for a tail magnet.
