the clamp meter you have is really good down to 50-100mA

I’ve read that anything below 200mA shouldn’t be trusted with this clamp meter. I used it to measure current on low setting of my Convoy S2+. It showed about 70mA, while a DMM with test leads showed 45mA.

BTW, my more advanced (not sure if more accurate) DMM showed 28mA, so an even bigger discrepancy when compared to the clamp meter.

I do like your idea of using multiple windings through the clamp to bring the current value up to a level where the clamp meter becomes more accurate.
