New Miller ML-105 V1.0 & updated ML-202?

Just use a usb car adapter and connect the charger to it.

It looks like ML-202 V5.0 is out - taobao | 淘寶

  1. Looks like V4.0
  2. New power management IC: IP5206 (same as ML102-V9.0)
  3. Input voltage is now 5.0-5.3V (I could reliably charge V4.0 from 5-20V!)
  4. Charging current is now at 2x1.5A (V4.0 was 2x1.3A at 5.3V)
  5. New indicator LEDs - 5 green LEDs show charge level
  6. Single slot output only! Second slot is only for charging - you have to swap batteries manually to discharge both!
  7. Auto shut-off in 20 seconds, auto turn on when load is attached. (Maybe less phantom drain?)

If the IC is the same as in ML102-V9.0 then I’d expect that the output would be the same too at 1.4A. V4.0 was 1.25A. Both numbers from HKJ tests.

I doesn’t look much like an upgrade to me

Any news about the ML-202 V5.0 ?
How about differences and advanages?

I’ve just got one of the ML202 V5.0 with the intention that it would provide a very low power output for a low power device that is low enough most power banks turn off while powering.

VERY disappointed.

So, only flat top bare cells fit; forget using any of your other 18650s.
I need to keep running at 0.014A, even at 0.05A this turns off.
I was getting 7.88Wh out of the PB and wondering why - it only uses the right hand slot for the USB output (when viewed with the positive terminal at the top).
You have to take out both cells and swap them to use the full PB capacity. The only thing about this is that you do know when you really get to 50% remaining capacity!
Even on one cell, it is outputting 2A, so that is quite impressive.

Considering I bought it for the low output current, and as a PB, this is a big fail for me. Not sure what I’ll do with it.
