I just received mine from Wallbuys. Eleven days from placing order to receiving it. Not too bad. Wallbuys is my go to China dealer from now on.
This light is a beauty! Flawless construction. Clicky switch works great. To me it looks better in person than in pictures.
The only real complaint I have is that my eyes can’t perceive hardly any difference when going from medium to high mode but it’s plenty bright for an AAA light. I have the CW version and it has a pleasing, very white beam.
The reflector is mildly orange peeled and is very deep for an AAA light and throws very well with a nice evenly smooth beam profile.
It’s a little large for key chain duty but it will definitely disappear in a pocket. If you’re looking for a great little pocket light with a clicky and appreciate fine quality, you can’t go wrong with this one.
Love mine—however it has recently had some failures to activate.
Sometimes I need to press the switch multiple times ( gently) or
loosen the tail a bit before it will come on. ?
The line about “Voltage : 0.8-1.6V (can’t use 3.7V Li-ion battery )” has now been removed from the specs on CNQ. 10440 now listed in the title as well, so it looks like there is a new version with Li-ion support. Possibly multi voltage support with the extension tube.
Just ordered one on banggood. Then found that it looks very much the same as this one, called Thorfire TS07. http://www.banggood.com/ThorFire-TS07-CREE-XP-G2-Stainless-Steel-Mini-EDC-LED-Flashlight-p-957246.html (and just $16,19 :)) It is listed as a DQG on Ebay (for $29.99) and on BG.
I thought it was a DQG when I ordered that... noname thing.
Still, I'll be happy with more lumens on high than DQG slim clicky, and the Spanish review telling the light is pretty good comforted me.
The description on Ebay says “2.Depressing the switch always Start on LOW,without momery mode.”
And the guy on the Spanish forum who tested the light a year ago said he bought it (a High-mid-low) in March 2014.
So it’s 2014.
