My Readings tested at 10 meters.
At 2seconds switch on 907Kcd.

I think these are the future, but I dont like the prices. If anything, prices should go down as tech improves and matures. Look at the BLF GT. It’s still too expensive for my liking, but a lot cheaper than these. All else considered I think you’re paying for the novelty of the display (like Imalent) and design, not performance. There are cheaper options that do as good or better.

On Aliexpress the TM39 Lite costs $290 and the BLF-GT90 $332.
Anyway, I think that the new TM39 makes no sense as it almost triples the output of the TM38 (1800lm —> 4600lm) increasing the throw by only 100m, an increase not even noticeable to the naked eye. But the higher output warms the torch and drains the batteries. Furthermore, the turbo runtime is shorter, while in the TM38 it was almost undefined.

Michael measured 889Kcd which is 1885 meter ansi throw with 5850lm after 30 seconds. Much better then the advertised 1500 meters.

Why should Nitecore declare less than the real cd??

Depends when they took there reading after switch on. All I know their specs are not right for ansi measurements and I also like to know why such low readings for advertisement. Michael did his tests with a Gosson Mavolux 5032 lux meter. I also did the tests myself. I got both TM38 and TM39 and the TM39 is much much stronger that I promise you. You cannot compare apples to oranges.
