A 660ish nm red would be much better. Please consider changing this! And definitely offer something in the 4000k range for the flooders.
I would definitely get one of it had those changes made.

Are you going forward with that headband clamp design on newer models? also is it the same one used in hs42?
I’m interested, since this sounds promising. I like gesture controlled flashlight.
But I hope you still able to change brightness by holding the button for example, in case there is no space to wave your hand around.
Another vote for the 5000k SFT40.
Interested!
Of course! There are six modes you can choose in red light: ECO/LOW/MID/HIGH/TURBO/FLASH.
The spotlight min 2 lumens, floodlight min 2 lumens and red light min 0.5 lumens;)
Yes! You can do this via the rotary button.
It’s unclear if this version will be made, but it’s something we can look forward to.![]()
OMG! Hey my friend, you’re right! I just realized my misunderstanding. Thanks for the correction!
Maybe I should describe it as infrared sensing or gesture control.
I hope friends who see this comment can forgive my wrong description. ![]()
Yes. It will be the same design as the HS42 headband clamp, but they are not the same one.
Hello BLF friends, if nothing unexpected happens, I will be completing the draw this week
Any other comments? Please let me know.
Definitely interested. ![]()
Looks cool and well designed.
Some suggestions:
Separately activated turbo, no stepdown in normal modes. Separate moonlight. Programmable levels ( like older Skilhunts and recent Mankers ).
Full functionality ( all levels working ) during charge.
Modding capable!
( easy access to emitters and driver ).
Can you confirm that the driver will use the Buck converter circuit? This type of driver has better efficiency, but it is more expansive to produce.
Recently, there was some confusion with Wurkkos when they mistakenly referred to a common thermal stepdown as a “buck” driver, which is not the intended meaning of the term “buck driver” in this forum.
Really interesting headlamp!
I particularly like the rotary dial for selecting which LED’s to use and a seperate button for the mode selection/level. This way you don’t get a very complicated UI with a lot of clicks to select the right LED.
I’m looking forward to see how it will turn out!
Pretty sure these are IR LEDs and receiver for gesture control
They could be. It’s unclear, because the first post says the gesture control is on the right side, and there’s a photo showing these things on the right side of the light, which I assume are the gesture control sensors.
Yes, but they look like clear 5mm LEDs or diodes, and I am sure that some compnents are there, so maybe there is another function which Sofirn not mentioned yet, like UV or something like automatic brightness which would make some sense for a headlamp.
Hello everyone, the GAW entry ended now. Thanks for all comment with actively in this post. I will post the final early birds testers soon.
Congratulations!
