@KeepingItLight

Please accept my entry into the Olight S15R Baton Giveaway.

Some of my favorite flashlights are:

1. Neutral-white and high-CRI flashlights – This can be a somewhat limiting preference, but as a photographer and hiker, I appreciate the better color rendition offered by these lights. Not every flashlight manufacturer systematically offers a neutral-white option. Some that do are Zebralight, ThruNite, and Eagletac.

2. Flashlights using the MT-G2 emitter – This is a neutral-white emitter that has power! Nitecore makes the P36 using it. That’s a flashlight that I own, and with which I am pleased. The 2x 18650 format is light enough to carry on a long hike, and the balance of flood and throw is nice. Nitecore has also announced the EC4S model that will also use the MT-G2. Many other makers now offer the MT-G2.

3. Neutral-white, 1x 18650 headlamps – I love the hands-free capability headlamps offer. I am considering the purchase of either the Zebralight H600Fw Mk II or Zebralight H602w that would be used in conjunction with a “throwier” hand-held light on a hike. The new ThruNite TH10 (NW), however, has me reconsidering that strategy. At half the cost of a Zebralight, I may not be able to resist.

Thanks!

Of course you are accepted and welcome your join.
